Káva, Křivoklát, Kids, Klamovka

Started the day with Koffee; caught the 11:17 train from Smichov to Beroun, and then onto Křivoklát Castle; then upon our return to Smichov, went to Klamovka Park for dinner out in the warm sunshine... a full day. The sun was out all day, for the first day in a couple weeks..and one actually did not even need a sweater or a jacket this afternoon; really nice and a pleasant change from the cold weather.

Very Small Church

The Rotunda - Small church of Saint Longina. Prague 2 in New Town. Built in 1762.
Happened upon this during a weekend walk. I still "bump" into new sights all the time and am continually amazed at what is around each corner that I have never seen before.

Walkin', Walkin', Walkin'

Great to have my kids here. Of course, had to show them Old Town square, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Kampa.. lots of walking then met a friend and her parents in the evening for several beers. Had Czech Pizza not far from the flat... long day, but really nice to spend it with my children. More to come for Saturday.

Dinner and Kavovárna

Kids have arrived in Prague. Plane was on time yesterday late afternoon; Instead of taking a taxi, we took bus 119 to Metro A at Dejvice, then changed to line B at Můstek, caught the tram at Anděl up to the flat... a Quick turnaround, then dinner, then Czech Beer at "my" cafe. A long day, as any day is arriving in Prague.

Once everyone wakes up, the kids will take a run through Petřín, then we will start our day, seeing some of the sights of Prague, and then will meet friends this evening. Cau.
