Shades of Green, a Lantern, Pink & Cobblestones
But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restored and sorrows end.
~William Shakespeare
The greens of summer are starting to fade,
memories are kept alive, but fade like the leaves of late Autumn.
Losses are the tears of summer,
every now and then, shed once again.
As light from a lantern discovers every crevice
Each day, like that light
offers discoveries anew
waiting around each jagged edge or gentle curve.
