Since yesterday afternoon, more than 11 inches (28 cm) of snow have fallen in parts of Monroe County(Rochester).
“It’s really going to keep on coming,” he said. “It’s not going to be intense, just really persistent. All that snow will add up.”
A total of 3 to 7 (18 cm) inches are expected today, with 5 to 9 (22cm) inches more predicted to fall overnight and another 3 to 7 (18cm) inches of fresh snow tomorrow, according to the Weather Service.
As of 1 p.m., 11.3 inches had fallen at the Greater Rochester International Airport since the storm began yesterday afternoon, according to the Weather Service.
And as of today, 39 inches (99cm) had fallen in Rochester so far this month in the first 15 days, making this month the 9th snowiest December in Rochester so far, McLaughlin said, noting that those totals will change as the snow continues to fall.
“There’s a good chance this will be the snowiest December in Rochester by tomorrow,” he said.

most of this is landing on the western part of the county. So Chili and the airport are REALLY bad.. 4 exits worth of black ice this morning. 20+ cars off the road.
