I have chronicled most likely my last train ride here in the Czech Republic. I always enjoyed traveling by train (except for the day I walked full tilt into a glass door between compartments, which by the way, I never saw...wow, did that ever hurt)
So today I left Prague in the late morning, catching the CityElefant(top pic) from Smichov nadrazí, and headed to Beroun(45 min), from there, caught the much smaller 'OS train', (2nd pic) which is not unlike a diesel truck/bus on rails.
This smaller train deposited me, after a 35 minutes ride, at the train station in the small town of Křívoklát for my afternoon of enjoying the forest, the town and the castle there, as you saw in the post below.
