Vaclav Havel, the First President here after the fall of Communism in 1989, organized todays concert to mark the 20th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution that peacefully toppled communism in the former Czechoslovakia on 17 November 1989.
The concert today, called, "It's here, at last" will be at the Cross Roads centre here in Prague and will feature Renee Fleming, Lou Reed, Suzanne Vega and Joan Baez, artists "who have a friendly relationship with our country" says Vaclav Havel. They will be accompanied by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jirí Belohlavek.
Havel says a number of prominent world leaders, including President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel are expected to greet the concert in video messages.
This coming Tuesday, the 17th, will mark the 20th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, Freedom and the end of Communism here in the Czech Republic.

What time is the concert and do you know if it is being televised to the rest of Europe or on a live feed?
