Mělník

Melnik is about 30 km north east of Prague. The bus I took this morning got me there in about 45 minutes. Mělník sits along the Elbe river where the Valtava merges into it. It has one of the biggest town squares in the Czech Republic and is known for it's Beautiful Bell tower, Zamek/Chateau and its working vineyards; the highest latitude working vineyards in Europe.

Today was a Cold, but really beautiful Saturday and stayed that way the whole time while I was in Mělník; rich blue skies and initially some wisps of high clouds.

Perfect.
