This week the news has been reporting that there will be a transportation strike this morning from 4am to 9am, effecting all Trams, buses and rail. However, the Metro should not be effected they say. My first class this morning is in Vršovice, which I can only get to by tram, however, my student comes up from Beroun, about an hour south of Prague, by commuter train... so we will see....should be an interesting morning.
END OF THE DAY UPDATE: I am finally in my flat at days end (7:20pm) and wanted to report that there was NO strike this morning. Pleasantly surprised that I was able to catch my tram to my first class and throughout the day... Phew....
