This bear, named Kazamír, lives at Konopistě. Well, in a Pit...for Bears. A friend sent me a link about him after dinner one day. (Diky moc) He is an Asian black bear (Ursus thibetanus), also known as a Moon bear or White-chested bear. It is a medium-sized species of bear that is mostly an Herbivore. They can be quite fierce. As I said, I felt sorry for him, even though I am sure he is well cared for. It is said they lead a mostly solitary life except during mating season. hummm, Not many Asian bears in Benešov though....
