Each year on this weekend in August, Park Avenue, a "Chic" neighborhood in a Eastern section Rochester, puts on a Street Festival. It becomes crowded very quickly. Lots and Lots of vendors selling art, pottery, photography, Garden items, artsy things, lots of different music venues and lots of different types and kinds of food and drink, BUT NO alcohol is served throughout the entire 2 mile section of Park Avenue.
Yesterday I went with both my children and we walked up and down the Street/neighborhood for a couple hours. It was a beautiful day and nice to do this with the kids, something we have done together for years.
and the Chocolate Covered CheeseCake, wow, talk about heavy!! but good!
