Another one down....

Cityboys - an expose of the goings-on within London's 'Wall Street'(known as: The City) and the corrupt high finance and dealings that have become the norm making bankers/traders very rich, at everyone elses expense. Perhaps not unlike the games played in America which led up to the Great Financial Collapse of 2008.

The author, who was one of these insiders, goes on to "...reveal the 'underbelly' of the Life in the devious, murky and often corrupt heart of Europe's biggest money market: The City. From six figure bonuses and monstrous egos.." to the everyday culture of lying, deceit and worse, this book outlines a terrifically eye-opening picture of why the world is in the sorry-ass financial state it finds itself in. The question is: Who can one really trust going forward?

It is funny at times, but more often, anguishing-ly sad from a human standpoint. None-the-less, an eye-opening read.

For many of us who lost perhaps large sums of money in the Great Collapse of 2008, one word only can sum up the people about whom this book expounds: Expletive Deleted.
