Today, went with a friend to an immense garden complex on what was once a private estate, a fairly short bus ride outside of Prague. ...and Very Green indeed! It had rained, and it was so moist and humid it was like walking through a primeval rain forest. Streams, waterwalls, ponds and lakes. Hard to imagine what it must have been like centuries ago as a private refuge for the lord of the manor.
The only wild life we saw was this huge Snail, the size of a child's fist.
..but today. A nice walk, good conversation, good wine.
